Twenty Two Media created a series of 30 highly-visual banners for St. Lawrence Market. Utilizing tantalizing food photography and punny messaging, the banners give St. Lawrence Market’s traditional branding an exciting refresh while enticing shoppers and educating them about the market’s new operating hours.
As a long-term partner, St. Lawrence Market enlisted Twenty Two Media’s creative direction to execute a redesign of their signage inside and outside the market. The task was to create a new and contemporary design that still encompasses the brand heritage of St. Lawrence Market by utilizing its iconic logo and signature red.
Twenty Two Media developed key design concepts by leveraging the team’s expertise in art direction, design and copywriting. The new designs encompassed a macro look at some of the iconic products associated with St. Lawrence Market, allowing for instant recognition of many of Toronto’s favourite food offerings.
Having worked with St. Lawrence Market on creative projects for years, our team was given full agency to conceptualize a vision for this new campaign. After researching and testing a range of designs, two designs were shortlisted and presented to the client. Once signed off, the designs were carefully adapted to fit the needs of all internal and external display points while maintaining a consistent look and feel.
Twenty Two Media’s 30 custom banners are now hanging in St. Lawrence Market’s interior and exterior spaces with striking designs that are distinguishable from a great distance.
